General Policies
Baptiste Instruction encourages hands on assisting to help students with alignment and experience the poses to the fullest potential. If you are not comfortable with hands on assisting please bring this to your instructor's attention. If you have an injury please bring this to the instructor's attention.
If students are disruptive or disrespectful in any way the instructor has the right to protect the highest interest in the class and of each student.
Instructors will not force any student into a situation or pose that makes them uncomfortable.
It is very common to experience emotional release in the practice of yoga. You are encouraged to feel what you need to feel. Please feel free to contact the studio owner with issues that need to be kept confidential.
At this time, our studio does not offer children's yoga. Thanks for understanding.
Studio Environment
Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga is practiced in a room with the temperature at 85 - 90 degrees and humidity around 60%.
The front door to the studio locks on time. This is to ensure each student's safety, limit disruptions, as well as providing a serene, meditative environment.
Instructor
The level of instruction at our studio is very important for the success of our community. We are committed to bringing quality instruction to your yoga practice.
Instructors are required to obtain a 200 hour RYT yoga certification or be in the process of earning their certification.
All instructors are required to attend Baptiste training within 1 year of hiring.
All instructors will complete the Baptiste Certification process within 2 years.
Instructors are required to hold their own liability insurance.
Scheduling
Weekly Class Reservations
If you reserve your class online your reserved spot will be held up to 5 minutes before class time begins. It is very helpful if you early cancel your reservation online before class, but if you cannot complete the early cancellation there is no need to contact the studio. You will not be charged for the class if you purchased a package of classes. Your account will be credited as if you were not an attendee in class so you can use that class credit at a later date. (Expirations apply)
Drop In Class – All sales final. No refunds. If you do not attend the class you will be dropped from the class roster and the drop in will be credited to your account so you can use it at a later date. The Drop In Class will be held as an account credit for 30 days then it will expire. (You can early cancel yourself which is highly appreciated or you will be dropped by the instructor 5 minutes before class begins)
Private Lesson Policies
All private lessons must be cancelled in a 24 hour period or you will be charged 50% of the cost of your private lesson.
A valid credit card should be on file at the time of scheduling a private lesson.
Contact the studio for pricing as some instructors teach lessons at different rates.
Rates Policies
Payments
Payment is rendered at time of service. We cannot accept post-dated checks.
If you would like to receive email receipts and updates please make sure a valid email address is on file. You can update your profile online to change payment or email information. If an email address is changed we want to know so we can keep you informed. In addition to updating the online system, please email or verbally communicate a change of email address to the studio owner to ensure our system holds the correct contact information for you.
Refunds & Transfers
All packages are non refundable and non transferrable. We do not refund for partially attended classes.
Monthly Auto Draft
Minimum 3-month commitment, 30-day notice for discontinuation. There will be a $50 fee charged if the auto-draft package is cancelled before 3 months or without a 30-day notice.
Expirations
Class package deals have a 6-month expiration. Drop In Classes purchased online have a 30 day expiration.
Freezing, Holding or Transferring Packages
We do not freeze, hold, or transfer packages. Please keep this in mind as you decide what options works best for you.
Workshops
There are no refunds for workshops. Space is limited and we are mindful of instructors coming to us from different parts of the country. Thanks for understanding.
Class Cancellations
We are committed to having the least amount of cancellations as possible. Please check the schedule regularly, especially during holiday season, as some cancellations will occur.
If we are to experience extreme weather conditions the schedule will be immediately updated to show the cancellation. We will do our best to notify you through facebook, emails, online scheduler, and/or at the top of each page on the website as an alert.
