Jessica started yoga with her best friend as a more relaxing way to supplement their gym routine during the week. With some hesitation, she agreed to her first yoga class at The Yoga Stand.
“I was accustomed to intense workouts in the past, but I wasn’t expecting yoga to feel like a good workout. After several classes I noticed a shift in my thinking at home and work that seemed to be more calm, positive and productive.”
She has been doing yoga since 2011 and recently completed her RYT 200 hour certification through The Yoga Stand. She is looking forward to helping others find peace and tranquility in their busy schedules.
“I rarely have time to myself to shut down and relax. I am so thankful to find something to offset a hectic work schedule. Yoga has become a priority in my daily routine because of the balance it brings me in my life.”
Jessica also works in Psychiatry as a Nurse Practitioner.
“My job requires a lot of patience and understanding to provide support for people in very difficult times of their life and I notice that I am able to provide the best care when I also take care of myself everyday.”
Yoga has influenced every part of Jessica’s life and she hopes to share that with others as well.
Jessica is 200 HR RYT Certified through The Yoga Stand Teacher Training School.
